Rodri replies after being asked about Julian Alvarez on first day as Barcelona player
Rodri was asked about Julian Alvarez in his very first press conference as a Barcelona player. His response was that of pure class.
“I try to be very prudent when it comes to players from other teams,” Rodri said.
“I have a lot of respect for Atlético Madrid, and he’s their player. Deco and the board will do their best to strengthen the team,” Rodri added.
Barcelona have tabled a bid for Alvarez that was rejected immediately. Now it’s hard to see how Alvarez signs for Barcelona.
Rodri, a former Atletico Madrid player, has decided to remain respectful to his ex-employers.
