Marcus Rashford isn’t on holiday and is ready for the World Cup.
While many players enjoy a holiday after a long and stressful season, Marcus Rashford chose a different path. Instead of spending time on beaches or vacations, he arrived in Miami early to begin his preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
The English striker used Inter Miami’s state-of-the-art training facilities to maintain his fitness and conduct individual training before joining the England squad. Sources indicate that Rashford proactively arrived in the US early to acclimatize to the time zone, climate, and playing conditions that the players will face at this year’s World Cup. This is also part of the preparation plan that coach Thomas Tuchel wants the players to follow to be in top form when the tournament begins.
It’s worth noting that Rashford just had a successful season with FC Barcelona, but he doesn’t allow himself to become complacent. There are no extended holidays, no self-satisfaction after winning the title. Instead, it’s about gym workouts, hours of work on the pitch, and absolute focus on the biggest goal ahead: the World Cup.

Looking back at Rashford’s journey, this is all the more admirable. There were times when his future was in serious doubt, his form declined, criticism was everywhere, and many doubted whether he could return to his peak. But instead of giving up in the face of pressure, Rashford quietly continued to work, fought hard, and gradually reasserted his value.
A football career always has its ups and downs, but what makes a great player is not just talent, but also attitude and professionalism. Rashford is demonstrating that. While many others rest, he continues to prepare. While many others are satisfied with what they have achieved, he is still looking towards the next challenge.
The 2026 World Cup hasn’t even started yet, but Marcus Rashford has already sent a very clear message: he’s not there to participate, he’s there to compete and give the best version of himself.
