Tiffany Haddish Celebrates Getting on Trump’s Bad Side While Hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!: ‘The White House Is Mad at Me, Y’all!’

Tiffany Haddish’s guest stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live! has caught the attention of the Trump administration.

During the show’s Wednesday, July 8 monologue, the Emmy winner reacted to a recent jab from a White House spokesperson, which she called a “shout out from the White House.” Haddish, 46, made a remark about President Donald Trump’s “tiny hands” being “all f—ed up” the night prior, which prompted White House spokesperson Davis Ingle to ask USA Today, “who the hell is Tiffany Haddish?”

“Some little snitch at USA Today asked the White House to comment on that joke,” she joked. “A spokesman named Davis Ingle said, ‘who the hell is Tiffany Haddish?’ Who am I? Huh? I’m the b—- you walk past to get to your coach seat.”

Haddish then reminded the staffer that she’s also a “Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.”

“Who am I? Who the f— is Davis Ingle, huh? Who is that? Is that a new character on Little House on the Prairie? But your ass in the White House, you in the wrong house,” she said.

Nonetheless, Haddish took the comment as a reason to celebrate. “This is exciting,” she said. “The White House is mad at me, y’all! This is the day that I finally become Jimmy Kimmel.”

She added, “I do got one question, though. If the president pulls me off the air, do I still get paid for the whole week?”

When reached for comment on Thursday, Ingle sent the following statement to PEOPLE: “I still don’t know or care who the hell Tiffany Haddish is.”

Haddish kicked off her latest guest-host stint on Kimmel on Monday, July 6, as the late night host enjoys a summer break. Kimmel, 58, announced the two-month vacation during his June 18 show, with Haddish’s hosting duties kicking off a series of other guest hosts filling in.

After her run this week, hosts will include Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson and Jelly Roll, with Kimmel also teasing Rosie O’Donnell as a “special treat for our commander-in-chief.”

“You’re welcome,” Kimmel said during his June 18 monologue. “And all I ask in return, Mr. President, is that you don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone. Okay?”
