Movement spotted at MSG ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding — including nod to ‘Folklore’ Easter egg
A possible nod to one of Taylor Swift’s songs added to the buzz outside Madison Square Garden on Monday, just days before the singer and Travis Kelce are expected to celebrate their wedding at the iconic Midtown venue.
Page Six spotted several vendors setting up for a massive event at MSG, including a lighting company, a piping and draping business, a transportation services company and several unmarked trucks.
Staffers were seen unloading large items wrapped up in tarps off of parked semi-trailer trucks. There were also forklifts seen moving massive trunks filled with unknown inventory.
However, Page Six obtained photos of a box labeled “40-inch mirror ball” being unloaded on the property, potentially a nod to Swift’s hit song from her 2020 “Folklore” album, “Mirrorball.” (Last year, Swift told Harper’s Bazaar that the melody is one of her favorite songs she’s ever written.)

Other vendors turned the ordeal into a covert operation, with some going so far as to conceal their business names, logos and phone numbers with tape.
Also spotted being loaded into MSG were dozens of spotlights, chairs and concert staging.
“No Parking” signs surround MSG with the project labeled “INT performance at MSG” from the dates of June 20 to July 4.
Several workers on the scene told us they were not informed about the identities of the clients they are setting up for.
One worker told Page Six, “We aren’t told anything. Everything is so tight-lipped.”
The lighting company had no comment and a spokesperson for the piping and draping business did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Page Six reported in April that the “Love Story” singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end were going to tie the knot over the July 3 weekend.
Last month, sources confirmed to Page Six that they would hold their reception at MSG, where Swift has notably performed shows on several occasions over the course of her music career.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani dropped a major clue about their impending nuptials earlier this month while discussing security arrangements for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
“I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience,” the politician told reporters at a press conference at the time.
“We are the biggest city in the country,” he continued. “We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one.”

He added, “We know it coincides with the Knicks’ [NBA] Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding — all happening at the same time — and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
City Hall subsequently confirmed to The Post that permits were filed with the city’s Street Activity Permit Office for July 2 to July 4. The filing asked for street closures around MSG and for a public tent big enough for 999 people to be set up outside the venue. Winick Production had no comment.
Page Six also confirmed there is a permit for a smaller, 100-person event on Thursday — with an insider saying it will be their rehearsal dinner.
While the exact date of their wedding remains unclear, Page Six confirmed that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are set to perform at what some sources are calling Kelce and Swift’s “Wedding-palooza.”

Page Six also revealed that the couple tapped renowned celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed to conceptualize the bash.
A-list guests expected to attend the wedding of the year include Adrien Brody, Sombr, Zoë Kravitz, the Haim sisters, Gigi Hadid and more. Meanwhile, Page Six exclusively revealed that Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, didn’t make the cut for an invite.
