50 Cent says ‘peace’ to Shreveport, ‘I only make deals that make sense’
In an evening post to Instagram, 50 Cent appears to be taking a step back from his All Roads Lead To Shreveport journey, a venture that included a filming headquarters, entertainment venues and more.
The post comes less than a month after the rapper, Curtis Jackson, was in town for a fireside chat, in an effort to tackle topics head-on and reinforce his commitment to the city.

During the fireside chat on June 17, 2026, Jackson made it clear he had full plans to execute planned business ventures, even hosting a ceremonial groundbreaking at the official site of what was set to be the home of his “G-Dome” venue.
Then just a few weeks later, on July 13, he shared a message on Instagram that appeared to indicate that he may be pumping the brakes.
There are people in Shreveport that just don’t want things to get better. I only make deals that make sense I’m gonna have to pull back on The Red River! peace
50 Cent’s Shreveport plans: Progress and controversy
The Shreveport business journey ,that began back in 2023, has not been without its kinks, hurdles, and even a few brush-ins with city officials, but ultimately each time the artist has been able to realign and refocus on his stated mission of bringing thriving entertainment development to the area.
Though there were few physical or visual signs of progress on the projects as of June 2026, the recent groundbreaking at the G Dome was intended to be a “sign of Shreveport’s rebirth,” according to a member of Jackson’s team.

The image for the post displayed the city of Shreveport along the Red River, and ended with the peace sign emoji and the words “peace”.
His team has not clarified at the time of this article, in what ways they will be “pulling back from the Red River” as the post stated, or which projects that would include.
As council members and government officials received word of the post, the Mayor of Shreveport, Tom Arceneaux, stated in a council meeting the following day, he did not know what led up to the post being created.
This is a developing story.
